How do I generate shipping labels?

Created by Jiose Printer, Modified on Wed, 23 Sep, 2020 at 3:22 PM by Jiose Printer

You've just set up your Jiose and now you want to generate your shipping labels.

Usually, shipping companies would provide you with a 4 x 6 inch label file, with the correct orientation; and appropriate quality. That would make sense because they want your label to be 4 x 6.

However, if you don't have a commercial solution then you are a very low-volume shipper and are probably printing at home on a standard 8.5" x 11" printer - which is the most common home printer.

This means you would usually simply want to print the label they give you into a PDF, then use this trick from Adobe to print just the label.

Please  turn to Cropping a full size 8.5" x 11" page to a 4" x 6" label to learn how to do it.

Note: Selling channels such as PayPal, Shopify, Etsy, Amazon, eBay can provide their labels in 4 x 6 size. Please see this how-to for most popular platforms.

Other options include:

  • Shipstation- They offer a free 30-day trial and plans start at $9.99/month.
