Installing Jiose J500 Driver on Macbook

To install the Jiose J500 driver on Macbook:



1. Insert the U disk that came with the package, and open the MacOS Setup folder to install the driver; (or click >> here << to download) 


Note

  Make sure the printer is connected to your computer with the USB cable and turn ON (I=ON) before installation.


2. Then, click "JiosePrinter-Driver.pkg" >>> "Continue" >>> "Install" >>> "close" to finish installation;


 


Caution


  If error notifications show "JiosePrinter-Driver.pkg" can't be opened...Safari can't open the file, etc., please go to System Settings to allow third-party applications to be downloaded.



  Please go to "System Preferences" >>> "Security & Privacy" >>> select "App Store and identified developers" or "Open anyway" to access Jiose driver. Then, close the program and repeat the above steps.



3. Now, you may add the printer once the driver is installed on your Macbook. Please go to "System Preferences" >>> "Printers & Scanners" >>> click the "+" icon to add a new printer;



Note


  Make sure the printer is connected to your computer with the USB cable and turn ON (I=ON) before installation, otherwise, no printer will be shown on the list.



4. Select "Jiose J500" >>> "Use" >>> "Select Software..." >>> search Jioseto add a new printer;


Caution


  If the printer is not connected to the computer, the driver will not be able to identify the USB port and will show "Printer Disconnected" when clicking the "Detect USB Port" button. Please double-check if the printer is connected to your computer with the USB cable and turn ON (I=ON) before installation. Then, close the program and repeat the above steps.
