Setting up Jiose N43BT on Linux

This Tutorial is going to teach you how to install and set up the Linux driver on an N43BT printer.


1. Click the below file to download and install the corresponding Linux driver; 

Note: If your computer does not meet the following versions, please contact customer service to customize your own. 


2. Unzip the file and then right-click  and select ''Open in Terminal'' (Or go to the folder where the installation file is located with cd command in the terminal);


3. Input the below commands, then enter the password to complete the installation in the terminal;

Raspberry Pi Command


Ubuntu Command 


1. Fill in [sudo dpkg -i N43BT_Linux_Driver_1.3.1_armhf.deb];
2. Fill in your password;  
1. Fill in [sudo chmod +x install];
2. Fill in your password;
3. Fill in [sudo ./install];


4. Once the installation is finished, open "Settingsand click on "Preferences" - "Print Settings";
4. Once the installation is finished, open "Settings", drop down a little bit and click on "Printers" - "Add a Printer";


5. Select "Add" to add a printer, then select [N43BT- Forward - Select printer from database - HPRT - Forward - N43BT- Forward] and decide the printer name to apply and print a test page;
5. After''Generic test only printer'' is displayed, please go through [Additional Printer Settings- Right click N43BT-  Select printer from database - HPRT - Forward] and decide the printer name to apply and print a test page;
